One of the challenges of Lent is to keep focused on worship and God’s great love toward us. We are often knocked off course because we get distracted. We get busy, we begin to believe lies about ourselves, we follow the wrong paths.  Our “enemies” may tell us that we are not good enough, or we haven’t done enough for you to love us.  These voices can lead us down the wrong paths. Yet your love never changes, and like a lost sheep that goes astray, your love follows us and rescues us.  In love, you make a straight path for us to follow.
