Focus
Slow your breathing and become aware of the taking in and letting out of your breath. Focus on putting things aside so you will be open to what God is saying to you today.

Psalm 99:6
6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
Samuel also was among those who called on his name.
They cried to the Lord, and he answered them.

PRAYER
As I look at the Topical Concordance in my Bible, I see at least a dozen headings concerning prayer. There are, examples of prayer, public prayer, the Lord’s Prayer, private prayer, in the name of Christ prayer, prayers before eating, positions of the body during prayers, prayers of the wicked not heard, prayers when offered, exhortation concerning prayer, commanded to pray and examples of answered prayer. Under these headings, there are more than 65 scripture references for us to use.
Seems to me that prayer should be considered a very important part of our lives. We are free to pray as we see fit. We can never be silenced when we lift a silent prayer to God, which we should do often.
As I write this we find ourselves affected by a virus pandemic that we have not been able to control. We wear masks, gloves and other protective gear. We stay inside, visit our neighbors at a distance, wash our hands and use hand sanitizers. But do we lift our voices to the One who is in complete control of such things? In Psalm 99:6, “Moses, Aaron and Samuel cried to the Lord for help and he answered them.” Don’t you think he will do the same for us?
Pray
Lord, may we lift up our voices to you in a way that is pleasing to you, knowing that you hear and answer in you own time.
Go with God!
