Psalm 67
To the leader: with stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.
1 May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face to shine upon us,Selah
2 that your way may be known upon earth,
your saving power among all nations.
3 Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you.
4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you judge the peoples with equity
and guide the nations upon earth.Selah
5 Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you.
6 The earth has yielded its increase;
God, our God, has blessed us.
7 May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him.
Reflect
As I am writing this, the USA has already been experiencing several weeks of restrictions due to the coronavirus. I know very few people who are still working and the rest of us are self-isolating if possible. Life is definitely different from what any of us knew on January 1, 2020. There is no doubt there are many hardships around, but it is not all bad. I have noticed blessings as well. All we need to do is look for the blessings. There are an abundance of churches now sharing messages by text, online streaming, and/or recorded sermons available on various devices. People that were faithful to attend weekly services are now staying home and worshiping together while watching these services. People that had not been actively attending services are also watching these services. Some of us are watching more than one church service on Sundays. It is apparent that the gospel message is now being spread far and wide in ways not available in the past. God has truly been gracious to us and blessed us with the technology that we now have. Yes, let us praise Him as He continues to bless us.
Pray
Gracious and Loving God, You have truly blessed us in more ways than we can possibly understand. We thank you for that. You continually watch over us and protect us. We thank you for that. You are due more thanks than we give you. Please forgive us for that.
Go with God!
