Austin Eugene “Doc” Manire

Mr. Austin Eugene “Doc” Manire, age 95, of Unionville, Tennessee, died on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born in Rutherford County and was a son of the late John Henry Manire and Willie Mai Wright Manire. Mr. Manire was a lifelong farmer and attended Kingdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Unionville (Columbia Presbytery) and St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Doc was a veteran of the Unites States Army serving in World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and the AMVETS.
