Focus
Prepare yourself to discern what is and what is not of God today. Still yourself so you can hear how God is calling you.

Psalm 65:8-13 (NRSV)
Those who live at earth’s farthest bounds are awed by your signs;
you make the gateways of the morning and the evening shout for joy.
You visit the earth and water it,
you greatly enrich it;
the river of God is full of water;
you provide the people with grain,
for so you have prepared it.
You water its furrows abundantly,
settling its ridges,
softening it with showers,
and blessing its growth.
You crown the year with your bounty;
your wagon tracks overflow with richness.
The pastures of the wilderness overflow,
the hills gird themselves with joy,
the meadows clothe themselves with flocks,
the valleys deck themselves with grain,
they shout and sing together for joy.
Reflect
It is amazing to witness the wonderful creations with which God has blessed us. The sun rises and sets every day, often creating spectacular images. Every spring the trees sprout new green leaves; every fall those same leaves turn beautiful autumn colors and eventually fall to the ground, creating a crisp bed of leaves. These miracles in nature remind me of God every time I see them. When I watch a plant grow from a tiny seed to producing a fruit or a flower, I am amazed that something life can come from something that looks dead. But God allows it to happen.
God provides for us without us even realizing it. If we put our faith in God, God will take care of us. Even when times look bad and there does not seem to be any way of surviving, somehow we are able to pull through those times—but only with God’s help. God gives us trials in life to help us become better and stronger people and to continue to grow and become closer to one another and to God.
Pray
Dear Lord, thank you for all the blessings you have given me. Thank you for waking me up each day so that I can witness all of the many miracles that are part of every day. Help me to continue to grow stronger every day and to grow closer to you. In your precious name I pray. Amen.
Go with God.
