Focus
Slow your breathing and become aware of the taking in and letting out of your breath. Focus on putting things aside so you will be open to what God is saying to you today.

Psalm 100 (NRSV)
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come into his presence with singing.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him, bless his name.
For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
Reflect
Push aside the Monday blues; today is a day to praise God! Praise God with songs. Praise God through your actions. Praise God by rejoicing in what God has done. Praise God by glorifying in who God is.
Forget about the things that are troubling you; today is a day to thank God! Thank God for what God has blessed you with. Thank God for sending Jesus into our world. Thank God for making you into the amazing person that you are. Thank God for being the great Shepherd.
Our psalm today is a call to worship God. It is something we should do every day, but sometimes we forget. We get distracted by everything we have to do. We get overwhelmed by all the things we want to say to God and all the questions we have. We get angry and have trouble worshiping. But today’s the day. Spend some time worshiping God today. God deserves all the praise and thanksgiving and worship that we can give. The psalmist reminds us why: “It is he that made us…the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” Praise be to God!
Pray
Thank you, Lord, for all that you have done for me. Thank you for loving me even when I mess up. I praise you, God, because you are wonderful and powerful. I praise you for the mighty works of your hand that I have seen in my own life. May my life praise you in all that I do. I love you, Lord. Amen.
Go with God.
