Mayburn Artice Putman, 91, of Lexington, Alabama, died January 1, 2022. Mayburn was a faithful member of Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Hope Presbytery) for more than 70 years. He worked for North Alabama Fabricating Company (NAFCO) for 37 years.

Although the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Florida, became a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) during the partial union of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church in 1906, the congregation thrived for decades before dwindling and being closed in 2013. Robert Bane, 85, of Watertown, Tennessee,  died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. Born March 12, 1936, to Ardle and Lottie Jaco Bane, Robert was a member and longtime elder of the Watertown Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Murfreesboro Presbytery) and worked in the welding and fabrication industry. He was the father of the Reverend Ted Bane (Nashville Presbytery).
